Using the game
Didn't Do It is free to play. No account is required; an account exists only to carry your progress between devices. You are responsible for the email address you sign in with and for keeping access to it.
What you may not do
- Interfere with the service: no attempts to overload it, break into it, or bypass its limits.
- No automated play or automated requests against the API, including scripted solving to place times on the leaderboard.
- No scraping or bulk copying of the generated puzzles for republication.
- No using someone else's account, or signing in with an address that is not yours.
Times that appear to come from automated play are removed, and accounts used for it can be closed without notice.
Times and rankings
Best times and the comparison against other players are a convenience, not a competition with a prize. Times may be recalculated, corrected or removed — for instance when a puzzle turns out to have been generated wrongly, or when a run looks automated.
Availability and changes
The game is offered as it is. It may be unavailable, puzzles may change, modes may be added or withdrawn, and the ladder or the scoring may be adjusted. Where a change affects stored progress, the change notes say so.
The game does not guarantee that your progress is preserved. Playing without an account keeps everything in your own browser, so clearing your browser data erases it. With an account it lives in a database with regular backups, which is not the same as a promise.
Liability
This is a free puzzle game run by an individual. To the extent the law allows, there is no liability for damage arising from use of the game, from its unavailability, or from lost progress or times. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law.
Content and rights
The game, its code, its look and its texts belong to their maker. The generated names are produced from name pools by an algorithm; they are not real people. Feel free to share a screenshot, a puzzle link or your time — that is what the share buttons are for.
Advertising
The game currently shows no advertisements. If an ad network is connected later, this page and the privacy page are updated in the same release, and in the EU a consent request comes before any advertising cookie is set.

Spelen is gratis, met of zonder account. Niet toegestaan: de dienst overbelasten of binnendringen, geautomatiseerd spelen of de API afdraaien, en puzzels op grote schaal kopiëren om elders te publiceren. Tijden die op geautomatiseerd spel lijken worden verwijderd.
Tijden en de vergelijking met anderen zijn een extraatje, geen wedstrijd met een prijs, en kunnen worden gecorrigeerd of verwijderd. Het spel wordt aangeboden zoals het is: het kan onbereikbaar zijn, puzzels en sporen kunnen veranderen, en behoud van je voortgang is geen garantie — zonder account staat alles alleen in je eigen browser.
